My name is Jojo and this website is a project that I started with my friend Dong. I’ve been playing with cars and modifying them myself as a hobby for years. Dong has also been modifying, not with cars but with motorbikes like Harley Davidson, Norton, BSA and other vintage bikes.

We met in 1997 while we were in college. We instantly clicked and discovered that we talked the same language when it came to the subject of Honda Monkey. This was when we started getting serious about collecting, modifying, playing and researching about the Honda Monkey. But, it was still our hobby.

In the year 2002, we turned our hobby into this website and 69 Garage was born. We called it 69 Garage because we both liked the number and how it represents the yin yang, the symbol of balance and harmony. Also, coincidentally 1969 is also the year of the Honda Monkey the model of 1969 that we like.

In 2004, 69 Garage is stronger than ever, now offering products such as parts for modification, replicas, engines and, services in rebuilding, renovation, and modification.

Since Monkeys are our passion, we know what works and what doesn’t. We don’t just sell blindly like salesmen who don’t know their products. We know in-depth and love what we are selling.

We are like the symbol of the yin yang, a balance of our passion and business. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the website. Maybe it’s not too high-tech and not too beautiful, but it’s the starting off point for us to produce our products and sell them. With the money we make, we’re going to use it to further develop the site and products.
